To Automate this brilliant concept into a bot, we have finally achieved it!
After All the Squeaky Wheel Gets the Good Oil..
What is all the noise about?
I am going to start at the end.
This is a Betfair Auto Betting Bot, that needs windows power PC to run, or a windows based VPS.
This software needs a Betfair account to bet into, so you must have a Betfair account.
Bets on all horse races that Betfair covers.
OK, are you ticking the boxes as we go?
Excellent.
Right now I will outline what the bot does.
It makes two dutches (group of several horses put together to make a set profit.)
This happens in a split second or so. In the above race Patagonia Won at 11.00, so Dutch 2 had the winner.
So, in almost all cases one of the dutches will be a winner (take a bow). Only if the winner is over 40/1 (my settings) would the race be a loser for us.
The losing dutches, then have the loses added to the Profit Target, for the next race (each dutch has around a 50% chance of having the winner in it.)
So in an ideal world, we would like one dutch to win, and then the other in the next race.
This obviously is not always possible, so we need to plan for losing dutches.
And we do this by several ways.
1. We have a Stop Loss trigger by amount eg. 15.00, or by number of consecutive losses, eg. 5 losses restart.
2. We have a transfer option, where we can transfer the target amount from the dutch that is getting higher, to the dutch that has just won, so has onlt the default target.
3. You have the option to stop one of the Dutches.
Staking:
We are target staking, so that means we are trying to win a set amount.
DD1 (Dutch 1) we have a target of say 1.00
DD2 (Dutch 2) we have a target of say 1.00
So the very first bet will mean one will win and get us the 1.00 target, and the other will lose, say DD1 wins.
Next race: DD1 we have the 1.00 target to win.
DD2 we have the 1.00 target to win, plus the staking we lost on race 1 to recover.
And this is the way the bot stakes, as it goes through the days racing.
How does it make the selections as to which Dutch The Fav Goes to?(33% of races won by the Fav).
You get to set the option, as to how the favourite is allocated.
1. Favourite Freeze, is this is selected, the Favourite is allocated the losing dutch all the time, if both dutches lose, it says with the Dutch is was with.
2. Favourite Rotate, this goes from DD1, to DD2 and back again, so it goes from one dutch to the other regardless of the dutches win lose status.
3. No Fav, the favourite is not included in either of the dutches, ever.
Then the rest of the horses within your odds range are balanced out, to represent the market as close to 50% each.
Added Version 1.24 30-8-2020
Three new options to construct the DD.
Fav (1,2,3,4) Auto, if selected, the DD will consist of DD1 will be the first 4 in the betting, so the 1st to 4th Fav, and DD2 will bet the balance of the horses up to the odds limit you have set.
Fav (1,2,3) Auto, is the same as above but using the first 3 in the betting in DD1, and the balance into DD2
Back (1,2), this option if selected will put the 1st and 2nd fav into bot DD1 and DD2 and split the remaining horses up to your odds limit, between DD1 and DD2. You will need to adjust your Max Book to 160.
This as I said above is done instantly.
The bets are placed, and you have three options, on what to do with the bets, if the price is not matched.
1. Cancel the bet.
2. Keep the bet in play.
3. Take SP price (preferred option).

Settings Comments.
Yes I am using small stakes, as you can see .10 (pences or cents) target stake.
This is because we are test the bot, and making sure that it is doing as it should.
The first 5 days, on Australia, UK and Ireland it has returned.
Australian Racing has returned $36.96 Profit after commission.
And UK/Ireland £17.31 (I was a sleep)
On a humble 10 cent or pence target.
And all on remote control.
Are these settings the best?
Probably not, they where the ones that sounded right, but no they are not the best.
I cleared the bot staking at the start of each racing session. Why?
So I was not carry losses from one country to the other and distorting the results.
We wanted Australian only punters to know what Australia returned in Profit.
Thanks a million to You and Michael, Steve.
I retired in March with a crook back after 36 years of nursing, and a few years cutting railway sleepers before then.
So while my back is a lot better since stopping nursing (and no chance of any compensation since there was no direct injury) this has been a terrific system for me. Have always been interested in dutch betting, as you would know from earlier conversations, and today it looks like it is paying off, since I already am a believer in dutching.
If anyone is ever in doubt, I would be happy to tell them more about my experience with this bot.
